Taboon bread gets its name from the“taboon” oven, where it’s baked. This oven resembles a small room and is made from pebbles, mud, and olive branches.

Samoon Bread



Samoon, also known as Iraqi flatbread, holds a special place in Middle Eastern cuisine.

samoon is baked in a stone oven called “furn”, heated by wood fire. These ovens resemble traditional pizza ovens. The diamond shape we associate with samoon emerged in early 20th-century Iraq.
